Unfortunately, it has been announced that Surplus Princess will cease it’s run at a meager 10 episodes. I’m as disappointed, frustrated, and devastated as the rest of you. Recapping this drama has been the highlight of my long weeks, and I dread the thought of the end being so near.
That said, since the show only has two more episodes to go, what would you guys like to see me recap in its place? Are there any upcoming dramas that have captured your attention? I would prefer to work with a series that hasn’t aired yet, but please feel free to sound off and share your thoughts in the comments. Of course, I’m not saying that I will recap another series, but I am thinking about it. I will finish recapping Surplus Princess; I’m not remotely ready to let go of that show just yet.
Note: Because I’m a bit behind schedule, I thought I’d upload the text of this review. I will work on adding the images later tonight when I’m free.
Update: Slowly, I’m screencapping and editing images. I will do my best to get them up ASAP! Thanks, guys.
As I’m spending more and more time with k-dramas and this blog, I thought it was only fair to give the design and layout of the site some much needed attention. There are a lot of limitations with using free themes, but I hope some of the changes I’ve already rolled out will be much more aesthetically pleasing than the previous version. I’ll also be cleaning up some of the pages that are accessible through the navigation bar above the header image. I’m still trying to find a better way to display the tags – as I’m not a fan of the cloud-style format. So, a lot is going to be trial and error. Please don’t mind the mess as I get everything in working order. Thanks!
In the meantime, I’m going to start Surplus Princess (aka The Mermaid) tomorrow. Within 24-48 hours, I should have the first image-heavy review ready. “Should be” is the operative word as I can’t make any guarantees. It’s been a bit crazy on the personal front this week, but I want to keep up with this blog and my favorite dramas to the best of my ability. So, keep your eyes peeled on either this blog or my twitter (@kimchidreams) dedicated to this blog.
